Common questions
Quick answers to what most callers ask first.
Can you really program a push-to-start key on-site?
For most makes — yes. We carry programming tools that handle proximity, transponder, and remote fobs in your driveway or parking lot. Some vehicles require additional security steps; we’ll confirm before starting.
How much does a car key replacement cost?
It varies by make, model, and key type. New car key and programming services start at $119*. Push-to-start & proximity fobs may cost more depending on the vehicle. We always provide an upfront quote before cutting or programming.
Do I have to tow my car to a dealer?
In most cases, no. We come to you, cut a working key, and program it on-site. That saves the tow bill and a day off work.
Will my old key still work after a new one is programmed?
Usually yes — unless you ask us to deauthorize the old key (recommended if it’s lost). We can erase it from the vehicle so a finder can’t use it.
Need a key, fob, or ignition fix?
Call with the year, make, and model. We'll quote it on the phone and dispatch the right tools.
